Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use Filetro, including the Local Editor, accounts and paid features.
Last updated: 30 August 20261. Using Filetro
By using Filetro you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must use Filetro lawfully and must not attempt to abuse, disrupt, bypass security controls or interfere with other users or Filetro systems.
2. Your files and content
You keep ownership of the images, designs and other content you edit with Filetro. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use that content.
Filetro's standard editor is local-first: normal image editing is performed in your browser rather than by uploading your artwork to Filetro's servers. You are responsible for keeping your own copies and backups of important work.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. You must not access another person's account without permission. Filetro may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, non-payment or a serious breach of these Terms.
4. Free and Pro plans
Features available to Free, guest and Pro users may change over time. Filetro may introduce, remove, limit or reclassify features where reasonably necessary to develop or operate the service.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price, currency and billing interval shown before you confirm Checkout. Applicable taxes may be added or included as shown by Stripe.
5. Renewals, cancellation and refunds
Recurring subscriptions continue until cancelled. You can manage or cancel an eligible subscription through the Filetro account area and Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal while paid access continues through the current paid period unless Stripe or Filetro shows otherwise.
Refunds are handled under the Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy and any consumer rights that apply to you.
6. Availability and changes
Filetro is provided on an evolving basis. We aim to keep it available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Browser updates, device limitations, local storage limits, third-party outages and other factors can affect operation.
We may update the editor, APIs, security systems, subscription features or these Terms. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
7. Third-party services
Google sign-in, Stripe billing, advertising and external websites are provided by third parties. Their own terms and policies may also apply. Filetro is not responsible for services that are operated independently by those third parties.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Filetro is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You are responsible for verifying exported files and keeping backups of important projects.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those rights, Filetro is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss caused by failure to keep your own backup copies.
9. Contact and applicable law
Mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply to you remain unaffected by these Terms. Questions about these Terms can be sent to Filetro support.
